The Elbert County Fair Board is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to preserving the rich agricultural traditions and community spirit of Elbert County, Colorado.The Fair Board serves under the BOCC as the administrative team for the organization,
planning, management, and operation of the Elbert County Fair. We also coordinate and
work side by side with Elbert County through their facilities manager and facilities team
and the Elbert County Extension Office to efficiently plan and run a county fair that the
community will enjoy. Our board works year-round to plan, organize, and oversee the annual Elbert County Fair — a celebration of rural heritage, youth development, and family fun.
With a strong focus on supporting 4-H and FFA, the Fair Board ensures that each year’s event provides opportunities for education, competition, and community connection. From livestock shows and rodeos to arts, crafts, and live entertainment, the Elbert County Fair offers something for everyone.
